The Lumen Technologies brands, CenturyLink and Quantum Fiber are related but now on different paths. Beginning on September 29, 2025, CenturyLink, who has a long-standing history of delivery quality voice service, will become the provider for all our customers' voice-related needs. This will allow Quantum Fiber to focus on providing premium, ultra-fast fiber optic internet service. We are notifying you of this change in advance so that you know what to expect when the change occurs.

  • CenturyLink will provide your Connected Voice service.

  • CenturyLink will handle your Connected Voice billing and payment processing, accessed from MyCenturyLink web o aplicación.

  • You will access your Connected Voice features and voicemail through the CenturyLink Connected Voice portal.

  • Any service changes or inquiries will be managed by a CenturyLink representative.

On September 29. 2025, CenturyLink, a related brand to Quantum Fiber, will become the provider of your Connected Voice service. This means that you will begin to be invoiced for and pay CenturyLink for your Connected Voice service, rather than Quantum Fiber. If you need to review your account or make changes to your service, you will use MyCenturyLink web o aplicación o contact CenturyLink.

  • The Connected Voice package selected (Basic or Professional) and what it includes (i.e. calling features, international calling minutes, e911) will stay the same.

  • Your monthly service rate for Connected Voice service will remain the same.

  • You will keep your existing phone number.

  • You will continue to use your existing Connected Voice equipment (adapter or IP phone) to connect your CenturyLink Connected Voice service.

  • Your user name for the Connected Voice portal will remain the same.

As Lumen Technologies brands, both CenturyLink and Quantum Fiber are related but on different paths. The CenturyLink focus is on reliable voice and internet services, while Quantum Fiber provides premium, ultra-fast, fiber-optic internet services.

You will not be required to fill out a form or sign any documents. Your continued use of your Connected Voice service indicates your acceptance of the CenturyLink service agreement.

CenturyLink is committed to providing reliable voice service, and we'd hate to see you go. However, you can cancel at any time. You are not locked into an annual contract and there are no penalties or early termination fees for cancelling.

CenturyLink, who has a long-standing history of delivering quality voice service, will become the provider for all our customers' voice-related needs. This will allow Quantum Fiber to focus exclusively on fiber internet services.

Quantum Fiber will continue to specialize in fiber internet services and our related brand, CenturyLink, will be the provider of all voice services. Since Quantum Fiber will no longer offer Connected Voice, your service is being moved to CenturyLink.

No. If you are enrolled in a Quantum Fiber Price for Life plan for your internet service, the price protection it provides for your monthly internet service rate will remain unchanged by this transition. It's important to remember, however, that Price For Life protection does not apply to Connected Voice service in Quantum Fiber or in CenturyLink.

Like your Quantum Fiber service today, CenturyLink Connected Voice and 911 calling will not work during a power outage unless you have an active battery backup unit. A battery backup unit is not included with the service, but we can help you obtain one. 911 calling works the same way it did with your Quantum Fiber service. Like with Quantum Fiber, you must provide CenturyLink with your physical service location and keep that service location updated.

New payment date

If your Quantum Fiber payment date is currently on the 29th, 30th, or 31st of the month, your CenturyLink Connected Voice payment will be on the 1st of each month, beginning in September.

Currently, Quantum Fiber withdraws payment for both internet service and Connected Voice on the same day each month. Beginning in September, Quantum Fiber will continue billing for your internet service, while CenturyLink will process payment for Connected Voice.

No. You will continue to pay the same monthly service rate for Connected Voice that you do today. After the transition date, you will pay CenturyLink rather than Quantum Fiber.

After the date on the notification you received, CenturyLink will bill and process payments for your Connected Voice service. Your payment reminder email from CenturyLink may arrive a few days earlier than those from Quantum Fiber.

After your Connected Voice service has been moved to CenturyLink you can use a different payment method for your CenturyLink Connected Voice service and your Quantum Fiber internet. To make a change, you can update those payment methods by signing in to your online account management portals or using the Quantum Fiber and MyCenturyLink apps.

In most cases, your payment will continue to be withdrawn on the same day as it is today.

If your Quantum Fiber payment date is currently on the 29th, 30th, or 31st of the month,  your CenturyLink Connected Voice payment will be on the 1st of each month.

During the transition period, changes to your payment method will not be possible. After your Connected Voice service has been moved to CenturyLink, you will be able to update your service and account information.

No action is required on your part unless you wish to review your account or modify your service. We also encourage you to download the MyCenturyLink app to for easy management of your CenturyLink service. We will be using your current payment method on file for your CenturyLink Connected Voice service.

We ask that you sign in to your Quantum Fiber portal now and confirm your payment method, email address, and mailing address are all current.

To manage your account and services, descargar la aplicación My CenturyLink. Once your Connected Voice service has been moved to CenturyLink you will receive an email from CenturyLink Notifications. This email will include a personalized link to create your online account. Be sure to check your spam folder if you don't see this email.

Connected Voice plan and features

Yes. You will keep your current phone number after CenturyLink becomes your voice service provider.

Your service will remain unchanged, including all of the messages that you have saved.

To use the softphone app features included with your Professional plan, you will need to download the CenturyLink version of the Connected Voice app. You will use your existing user name and create a new password.

All other Connected Voice service features and settings will remain the same.
