Rocky Mountain Power is Salt Lake City's primary electricity provider. To start or transfer service, call 888-221-7070 or visit rockymountainpower.net.
Setting up your service online is the quickest option. To get started, click on "Start, Stop or Move Service." If you're new to Salt Lake City, open a new account by going to "Start Service ." You'll be asked to enter some basic information, including your social security number, address, and a valid ID. To ensure on-time connectivity, we recommend scheduling service several days in advance.
If you already have an account and are moving to a new neighborhood, click on “Move Service” to sign in. You’ll be prompted to enter your account information and submit a service transfer request.

Natural gas connection
Enbridge Gas is your go-to natural gas source in Salt Lake City. To begin service at your new home, visit enbridgegas.com and click on “Start Service." You'll be asked to create a new account and then provide your new service address and the date you want to start service. Once connected, you can manage your account, pay bills, view your account history, and monitor your energy usage online.
If you already have an account and are moving to a new area of Salt Lake City, click on “Trasladar Servicio" and follow the easy instructions. We recommend requesting a transfer of service at least 7 days in advance to ensure prompt delivery. If you need further assistance, you may speak with a service agent by calling 800-323-5517.
Water, sewer, and trash services
Salt Lake City Department of Public Utilities handles your area's water, wastewater, and trash collection services. For your convenience, these services will be included in the same monthly bill. Call the customer service office at 801-483-6900 on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to set up service and activate your account. Once connected, you can pay by phone, online, mail, or in person at several nearby locations.
